Orange Order New Zealand is extremely proud to have recently made a $4,000 donation to Pivotal Point, a Queenstown-based organisation that supports neurodivergent children in the wider Wakatipu region.
Neurodiversity is an umbrella term that encompasses specific learning differences including Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia and Dyspraxia as well as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism and Tic Disorders such as Tourette’s.
At our recent 2024 Grand Lodge of New Zealand meeting in Queenstown (May 2024) we had the great pleasure of having Lisa Leftley, Founder & CEO of Pivotal Point attend our meeting and share with us an update on all of the amazing work that their organisation is doing to support neurodivergent tamariki in the area.
At the conclusion of the session we were delighted to present a cheque for $4,000 to Pivotal Point on behalf of all of our lodges and members across New Zealand.
